Bio
As a kid growing up, Tre'Von "Tre' Fluency" Gater has always had a dream of
becoming famous. He has always had the talent and determination to
accomplish anything he set his mind to. But how would he make this dream
become a reality?; a pen, a notebook, and a microphone.
Born October 12, 1993 in Lansing, MI, another star was born. Tre' lived
most of his life in Detroit, where his interest in music had evolved. He
always listened to different styles of music that was played in his
parents' vehicles and other entertainment devices. But Hip-Hop was the main
genre that caught his eyes and ears.
Tre' started out with writing poetry at the age of 8, and became pretty
decent at it. He then moved on to spitting freestyles so he could find his
rhythm and flow in rapping. After that, he switched his style to writing
songs instead. Since he never lived in hardship, sold drugs, or been gang
affiliated, Tre' usually wrote and rapped about the positive, and things he
learned about in life. Just like gaining knowledge, music is forever his
hustle.
Even though he could dance pretty well and play sports, writing and making
music was his true nature and passion. Once in high school, Tre' would
display his lyrical talent when the time called for it, such as in the
school talent shows and other events. Tre' always told himself he would
become one of Hip-Hop's next biggest stars, and in due time that one
thought will become a reality.
What really sparked Tre's confidence to start taking his craft more serious
was after hearing one of his most favorite Hip-Hop artist's albums. The
artist to do that was Kanye West when he dropped Late Registration in 2005.
"Hearing that album really made me want to continue rapping so I could
increase my talent and be well known throughout the world like the artists
who I look up too" Tre' recalls reminiscing on his past.
Over the years, Tre' Fluency has toned and build his rap skills to a much
higher level, and is becoming a true Hip-Hop artist. Tre' is a different
type of rapper who wants to bring out the positive, and be an influence and
role-model to many people, especially the kids.
Without a doubt, Tre' will prove to be a talented artist who does not need
to be slept on. One key word he lives by and what others have graced upon
him, is "authentic".
"There is reason behind God giving me this talent...he has something
planned for me in the future." -Tre' Fluency
